down-to-earth therapists found here
Hello, I'm Michelle

I became a therapist because I am passionate about the process of healing and truly enjoy helping people reach a place of acceptance and peace. I believe that the therapeutic relationship between a client and therapist is sacred. That is why I commit to being present through your process of healing, without judgement. Come as you are, whatever that may mean to you, and I will meet you there.
I work with men and women that are navigating PTSD, OCD, and other anxiety disorders. I am also specialized in working with Perinatal Mental Health clients.

My approach
I utilize evidence-based approaches that are best suited for each unique client and believe that a collaborative therapeutic relationship is best. The approaches that I pull from the most are Somatic Nature-Based Therapy and inner-child work. I am also trained in TF-CBT, ERP, and integrate those techniques when appropriate.
I would describe my approach as goal oriented and directive, when necessary, while also implementing patience and compassion. I work best with clients that are eager to see changes in their lives and are willing to leave ineffective coping skills in the past.
